Auditing sub–group
The NA CPC Audit & Evaluation sub group's remit is to have an overview of single agency and inter agency auditing and quality assurance systems to ensure that robust mechanisms are in place that inform improvements to services to protect children and young people in North Ayrshire.
This group developed a Multi Agency Self Evaluation Strategy which was launched in January 2011.
The NA CPC Audit & Evaluation sub group meets on a regular basis to:
- Implement the Multi Agency Self Evaluation Strategy
- To ensure quality assurance systems directly contribute to the continuous improvement of services to protect children and young people
- To ensure there are programmes for continuous improvement of services and monitor implementation of these
- To ensure application of lessons learned from Inquiries, Inspections and Case Reviews
- To report any issues which require to be actioned to NA CPC.
