Child Protection in the Community sub–group

The Child Protection in the Community meets to support improvement in child protection standards across services within the community and to respond to issues identified.

Currently, this sub group has the following primary objectives:

1. To encourage community groups in North Ayrshire to access child protection training and guidance that helps them provide high quality services to children and young people that places safety as a priority.

2. To revise the child protection guidance for community groups, taking cognisance of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme.
