North Ayrshire to Chair National CP Training Group

The National Child Protection Training Group provides a national overview of all child protection training in Scotland.

It promotes the development of child protection training programmes that reflect and contribute to continuous improvements in services to protect children and young people and is represented by multi-agency child protection co-ordinators from all Child Protection Committee's in Scotland.

The group meets regularly to share best practice and works to standardise the content of training programmes for practitioners in all agencies across Scotland.
